Thrilling Ride to Remember 2018 From Springfield to Boston

Terrific 6th annual Ride to Remember yesterday with 400+ cyclists from MGM Springfield, MA, to...

...the State House in Boston to remember fallen Massachusetts's police and firefighters with Gov. Charlie Baker!

Along the way, the ride made a special stop at Beauregard and Schiavina Memorial Field just outside downtown Springfield that will soon be converted into youth sports fields largely funded by Ride to Remember donations.

As always, the ride included 108 miles of dedicated police escort and 5 mandatory rest stops, all of which were precision-organized by ride founder and recently retired Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney, his wife, Gabriella, and... incredibly enthusiastic, efficient team of ride-support volunteers of all ages.

As John Delaney said concisely at the end of the State House post-ride recognition, "Let's hope we lose no police or firefighters on the job this year and just have a great ride next year". Right on! Ride on!
