2024 Hickory Ride Of Silence Photos

Despite a dicey weather guess, eight Hickory Velo Club riders and Hickory Police Officers John Mayhew, on a police e-bike, and Casey Willis, in a police cruiser, had a safe Ride of Silence ride yesterday evening through downtown Hickory to honor and remember fellow cyclists injured or killed in traffic crashes.

Here are some shots.

Ride of Silence is one of a growing number of events that raises awareness of our need to make our streets safer for all. Good riding with great fellow HVC brothers and sisters, and thanks very much to our Hickory Police for their professional, enthusiastic support!
