Kids had a blast - on balance bikes and full-on pedal bikes - riding through a well laid out skills development course that helped them improve balance, turn, brake and manage obstacles, all under parental and police supervision. The key measure of success: big smiles on every kid and adult - and this is just one of the many steps we're taking in Hickory to improve street safety for all.
